Added low / excessively high warnings when adding a new meter reading

Low Meter Reading Warning

When adding a meter reading through the UI, you will now get a warning if the meter reading is the lowest for that recurring invoice line.


High Meter Reading Warning

There is now a setting in Configuration -> Recurring Invoices -> 'New reading percentage over the average reading to warn', which will throw a warning in the UI when the new meter reading is greater or equal to the percentage increase over the average meter reading so far for that line.


Handling these warning if logging readings over the API

The low warning will only be checked if the field '_checklower' is passed in the POST payload, which is added by the UI by default and the high warning will only be checked if the setting mentioned above is enabled.


To bypass any confirmations, you can include the following field in the POST payload: '"_newreadingconfirmation_ok": true' but as mentioned, if the setting is disabled and you don't include '_checklower', you will not be impacted if logging on the API.


Please note these checks only take into account the last 250 meter readings, to ensure no impact to performance. No confirmation checks will apply to imports.

You can now use AI insights to automatically assign assets to tickets
